Frequently asked questions

What is Ausmed Library™?

Ausmed Library™ is a curated catalogue of healthcare learning resources your organisation can use to support staff development, mandatory training and CPD. Teams access ready-made modules, videos and readings that are practical, evidence-informed and updated for Australian care settings.

  • Use for onboarding, annual refreshers and targeted upskilling
  • Assign content by team, role or location; track completions
  • Searchable topics across hospital, aged care, disability and community
  • Works alongside your existing governance and reporting processes
Can we use Ausmed Library™ content in our current LMS?

Yes. Ausmed Library™ resources are SCORM-compliant and can be imported into most learning management systems (LMS) so your existing assignments and tracking continue to work. You can also pair Library with Ausmed's LMS if you prefer an end-to-end solution.

  • Package individual courses as SCORM and upload to your LMS
  • Completion/attempt data records back to your LMS
  • Keep your current due dates, enrolment rules and reminders
  • Option to use Ausmed LMS (SSO, user provisioning, reporting)
What does standards alignment mean for training content?

Standards alignment means each learning resource is mapped to relevant frameworks (e.g., NSQHS, Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards) to support governance and reporting. Alignment helps you evidence coverage and find gaps; it does not, by itself, confer compliance.

  • Filter your library and reports by specific standards/actions
  • Use results in audits and quality improvement meetings
  • Combine with policies, supervision and local procedures for full compliance
What bundles are available and how do we choose the right one?

Bundles are curated sets of Library resources grouped by care setting; Acute Care, Residential Care, Home Care and Disability Care.

Who creates the learning content and how is quality assured?

Learning content in the Ausmed Library™ is evidence informed and developed by subject-matter experts - Australian clinicians, educators and researchers. It is produced with editorial and clinical review and aligns with national standards, where applicable. Each resource includes clear learning objectives, referencing and review dates, with updates made as guidelines change.
