Course Overview

Did you know that falls can lead to all kinds of adverse outcomes, from loss of consciousness to functional decline, hospitalisation and even fatality? Care staff have a responsibility to minimise the risk of falls among vulnerable populations as much as possible. This training module will equip you with knowledge of common risk factors contributing to falls, help you to understand falls prevention strategies and guide you in responding appropriately if a fall occurs.
