Elder Abuse

Elder abuse is a deeply concerning and distressing issue for anyone to encounter. This Ausmed Training Module will help equip learners with the knowledge and tools needed to recognise and respond to potential elder abuse in the community and in residential care settings. By exploring the different types of abuse, risk factors and reporting strategies, learners will gain a greater understanding of how to safeguard the wellbeing and dignity of older adults in their care.
