
High intensity daily personal activities are specialised supports under the NDIS Practice Standards that involve high-risk tasks requiring advanced skills, knowledge and training. This Ausmed Training Module outlines the essential knowledge NDIS support workers need to safely support participants with a tracheostomy, including routine care, equipment awareness, and recognising and responding to emergencies, in line with the participant’s Health Management Plan and workplace requirements.
