Within organisations, leaders and managers play a defining role, and while leadership and management are closely related, they are not synonymous. In this microcredential, the theoretical ideas around management and organisations will be introduced. You will reflect on organisational culture, power and politics. It will conclude with an overview of organisational structures and the Australian healthcare system. This microcredential is the second in a series of three that corresponds to the unit of study 249 Introduction to Leadership and Management.
