Lucy is a registered nurse with extensive experience in paediatric and neonatal critical care. She has worked in high-acuity clinical environments caring for critically unwell infants and children, where early recognition of deterioration and effective resuscitation are essential. She is passionate about clinical education and improving confidence in paediatric emergency care. Her work focuses on translating evidence-based guidelines into clear, practical learning that supports healthcare professionals in recognising and responding to paediatric deterioration and cardiac arrest. Lucy Is a current PhD student, has a Honours in Research and a Post Graduate certificate in Paediatric Emergency. Lucy is a paediatric emergency Clinical Nurse Educator in Victoria, a lecturer for post graduate paediatrics and a Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing.
