Care workers currently make up the majority of the healthcare workforce in Australia, however, their positions are not currently regulated by a formal regulatory body. This Ausmed Training Module seeks to guide care worker’s in recognising what is and isn’t in their scope of practice.

  • Understand a care worker’s scope of practice.
  • Identify activities that fall outside a care worker’s scope of practice.

All care work staff in any healthcare setting, including residential aged care, home care and disability care.
