Course Overview

Bullying and harassment are endemic in our society and no matter where you work, you are likely to encounter bullies. You yourself may even occasionally bully people. This mandatory training module looks at some of the fundamental aspects of bullying and reveals information that all staff should know.

Target Audience

All staff who work in health care. Bullying and Harassment is also intended for staff commencing employment at any level in the healthcare sector.

His postgraduate studies include policy and social change and historical aspects of mental hospital management. Andrew has wide experience in clinical nursing, nurse management, and education. He is the author of a book for nurse managers, as well as several texts and book chapters on a variety of topics.

Upon review this resource has been beneficial to me to educate me about the laws surrounding bullying identifying what exactly is bullying and what is not. I have more confidence now knowing how to address my coworkers when and if I need to.

I thought it was a good coverage of the very basics. It would have also been helpful to have cited more of the impacts of bullying on patient outcomes, workplace safety, morale, and the cost to the healthcare system.
