Performing CPR on Prone Position Patients

Patients in the prone position may begin to deteriorate or experience cardiac arrest, requiring immediate CPR. Prone CPR is uncommon and unusual, as it is not a preferable position for resuscitation. However, even though the supine position is considered optimal for CPR, it is not always feasible.
