Lecture Overview

Blood clots are deadly. Over 14,000 cases of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and/or pulmonary embolism (PE) occur every year in Australia, and DVT and PE are associated with 7% of all hospital deaths annually. Dr Bazargan's witty, intellectual and charming presentation provides a succinct introduction to blood clots and discusses how you can spot thrombosis in your patient.
