Learn how to look, listen and investigate pain in people living with dementia who are unable to verbalise their discomfort or pain.

On completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Describe how pain works in the body
  • Describe what would lead you to think that a person with dementia might be in pain
  • Describe a pain assessment
  • Describe the role of pain assessment scales/tools in pain assessment
