Lecture Overview

Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a haematologic disease characterised by clotting in the microvasculature, thrombocytopenia and anaemia with the potential for multi-organ failure. In this lecture, apheresis nurse Jessica Klass provides an overview of this potentially life-threatening condition, looking at its pathophysiology, symptoms and treatments.
