Lecture Overview

Many older adults with dysphagia have difficulty swallowing tablets and capsules. Altering the dosage form of oral medicines, such by crushing tablets, is common practice, but can have a variety of adverse consequences. So, how we can safely administer medicines to older adults with dysphagia? Clinical pharmacist Gauri Godbole explores that question in this lecture.
