A really great article that provided really good examples of when a boundary was crossed. I liked that it was linked to the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Professional Boundaries can easily be overstepped due to the fine line between innocent activities and infringement of the Code of Ethics. Updating and reinforcing knowledge on this topic is essential in order to maintain the trust and integrity that Nursing is held in by the Community.

This is an important area because clients can be very vulnerable and staff can also be susceptable in moments of weakness.
