I found this topic very helpful in my daily duties. On how stressful it can be if not treated and can lead to profound loss of quality of life.

This was a great educational resource. I would like to do more research in this area to support my role as a community nurse. I find that there is not enough information on bowel continence, I would like to find a chart that can be used to document all aspects of this health assessment. I do find the bowel diary to be quite good for patients to use as they are able to reflect on the benefits of the lifestyle changes.
